When You Call a Business That Uses Tradear

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Who answers

Some businesses use our AI assistant to answer their phone when they can't. It tells you at the start of the call that it is an AI assistant taking notes for the team.

Who is responsible

The business you called decides how your information is used (it is the "controller"). Tradear, a service of Global Digital Enterprise Limited, runs the assistant for them (the "processor").

What is kept

  • Your phone number, and a written transcript of the call.
  • What you tell the assistant, such as your name, address and what the job is, and a short summary.
  • The audio of your conversation with the assistant is not recorded.
  • If the assistant is unavailable and you leave a voicemail, the voicemail is recorded, transcribed and sent to the business.

Why

So the business can call you back and deal with your enquiry. The business relies on its legitimate interest in handling the calls it receives. Please don't share more than the business needs: for example, only mention health details if they matter for the visit.

Who else sees it

The business and its team, and the technology providers that run the service for us: Google (hosting, speech recognition and AI), Telnyx (phone network and voicemail) and Resend (email to the business). Some of these process data outside the UK, under UK-approved safeguards. Your information is not sold or used for advertising.

How long

Voicemail audio: 90 days. Transcripts and call details: 12 months, unless the business deletes them sooner or adds you as a customer, in which case it keeps them as its own customer record.

Urgent calls

If the business has switched it on, the assistant may send an alert or try to transfer you to someone on call. It is not an emergency service: in an emergency, call 999.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Ask the business you called, or email support@esignkit.co.uk and we will pass your request to them. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
